Kenya-Taiwan Tension

Kenya deported Taiwanese who allegedly had links to a telecom fraud crime network. This has caused tension between Taiwan, Kenya, and even China. The question is one of jurisdiction. China still considers Taiwan a part of China. Taiwan is in reality functioning as its own independent state. Kenya deported at least 45 Taiwanese to China. Taiwan is a sensitive issue for China and at times it has caused problems with  diplomatic relations with Africa. China at onetime broke relations with Chad, when it recognized Taiwan. This could escalate into a much larger conflict. The question remains in which country will the accused be tried. Asia is already going through a shift induced by the Asia pivot by the Obama administration. Taiwan has a newly elected president that may be more hostile to China than the previous administration. African nations may find themselves caught in the middle of  conflicts between Taiwan and China. Taiwan is vexed over Kenya's deportation, but it has a right to do so for people who are not citizens.
