Argentina throughout its history used warfare and violence to make its demographic composition more white. The desire to be seen in a European classification alienates the Afro-Latino and indigenous populations. Football hooliganism has a connection to far-right extremists and hate groups. More crime will come as a result of racial hatred and conservative governments. The causes of the riots were Argentinian racism, lack of efficient security, and a growing frustration from the public projected in criminal acts. Argentina was trying to use the World Cup as a way to show national superiority. Losing the World Cup undermined this belief. Despite the riots and the team's loss, a celebration was held for the team. Argentina intends to also make a holiday as well.
